Beautiful LAYERED GARNET GILT STERLING BROOCH c1900-10

A splendid and attractive Edwardian gilt sterling layered garnets brooch c1900-10. This 1-5/8" across pin features deep red claw-set rose cut garnets in a rose gold plated sterling setting with five layers; it appears vaguely heart- or triangle-shaped, and it has an early safety catch. It is unsigned, and this beauty is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted.
