| A large sterling silver round charger or chop platter in the Royal Windsor pattern, introduced by Towle in 1935 and discontinued in 1996. It measures 17" across and weighs approximately 1330 grams (almost 3 pounds). Unlike the cake plate and butler trays of this pattern, the floral motifs are on the inner edge of the tray. It is in excellent used condition, with no breaks, cracks, corrosion, repairs or damage other than a very slight flattening for a few inches on the edge. It is stamped STERLING with the Towle hallmark and 66422. A beautiful piece of silver.
