| An attractive unsigned late 19th century English ceramic 12-1/2" double-handled mantle vase c1880s. Entirely hand painted in the Imari palette with cobalt, orange and rich gold highlights and panels, this vase is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing and some minor gold wear, mostly on the handles. The handles are painted in a rich matte gold. The pictures turned out a little dark (in our viewer, anyway) - the cobalt blue is a true cobalt colour, and not blue-black. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $16 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
