| A vintage Edwardian 10k yellow gold opal and amethyst size 3 ring c1900-10. This dainty ring features two well-matched oval natural claw-set opals flanking a fine medium purple natural facetted amethyst. The opals have great blue and green fire with an orange transluscence and impressive depth; the ring measures 5/8" x 3/16" across the stones and it weighs 2.7 grams. It is stamped only S (but tests as 10k) as it appearsto have been sized down at some point in the past. This beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $6 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
