| A rare 10-5/8" series ware display plate from the Early Motoring series produced by Royal Doulton from 1905-28. This plate depicts the scene called "Room for One" (D2406); it has the black Doulton mark, a letter E below the pattern number and an underglaze 11-06 (or08) (for 1906 or 1908). This early example is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some fine overall crazing. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $12 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card.
