GEORGE CULLEY WATERCOLOUR PAINTING Canadian

An unframed 19" x 14" watercolour on paper by George S. Culley (Canadian, 1923-2000) depicting either a Scottish or Canadian scene of a waterfall, cliffs and rushing water. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, George Culley was stationed in Scotland during World War II and attended the Glasgow School of Art (1944-5) and studied at the Emily Carr School of Art (1949-55). He returned to Canada, set up and sold a business and then took up painting full-time. This picture is dated 1944, and it is in excellent original condition with no foxing, staining, bends, tears, losses, damage or repairs other than some roughness to the right edge where the paper was cut. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $8 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. NOTE: we do not accept PayPal.
