A fine late Victorian period 14K yellow gold bar pin or tie pin with a 3/8" across shamrock set with genuine seed pearls c1895-1910. This 1-1/2" pin is stamped 14K in the top leaf, with a manufacturer's mark that looks like an antique key on one side leaf, and there is also a mark /20 on the stem. It closes like a safety pin, it weighs 1.6 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, corrosion, repairs or damage. A vintage 14K solid yellow gold heart shaped pendant necklace c1950s-60. The heart shaped pendant has a large 6.7 mm. genuine cultured pearl in the centre, and the fancy link 14k solid yellow gold chain measures 16" in length. The pendant measures 7/8" across, the pearl has excellent lustre with a creamy colour, and the chain has European hallmarks and .585 (for 14K). The pendant and chain have also been tested, and are guaranteed to be 14K solid gold. A stylish vintage Victorian large Neoclassical style hair mourning brooch c1860s. This 2" x 1-1/2" pin features the multilayered effect found in Victorian high-style jewellery, and it has great gold appliques and wirework. It features two braids of hair under the original glass, which retains its original bezel. One plait is small and chestnut brown and tied with a pink ribbon, the other larger one is blonde with grey. The mounting and presentation is quite fine, and this unmarked pin tests as 14K yellow gold; it weighs 13.3 grams. It has a c-clasp, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage other than the loss of one decorative "S" applique (easily replaced). A large and striking 19th century carnelian agate set in a classic 9k yellow gold barley twist setting c1860-80. It measures 2 5/8" x 2", and has a safety catch, which would have been added later. The gold setting is heavy and well made, and all of the claws and rope work are in perfect shape. The stone is a really attractive slab of carnelian agate, it is 1/4" thick. It has a bevelled edge and is highly polished. It is in excellent and original condition, but I must note that the stone (which was clearly picked for its unusual appearance) has a tiny naturally occuring gap near the edge (about the size of a pin top) and there is a fissure in the stone - again naturally occuring and not detrimental - which looks like a crack, but isn't. It doesn't go through the stone at all points and will not affect the integrity of the piece, but we like to mention all details, and it is visible in the picture. A pretty late Victorian period 14k yellow gold & diamond brooch c1895. The free and graceful open whirling design of this piece shows the transition from stylized Victorian to the more flowing Art Nouveau influence. It measures 1" across, and in the centre is a claw set clear white genuine European antique cut diamond, measuring 3.5 mm. across (20 pts) - it is is VS2 diamond of I-J colour. It has the original gate latch safety clasp, where it is stamped 14k. It is in very good condition, with all of the claw work in excellent condition, and the diamond in excellent condition also, but please note there appears to be an old professional repair visible only on the back of the brooch.
