A deeply carved, high relief antique Chinese hand carved ivory broach set in a high grade silver (tests as sterling grade or better) setting. It most likely dates to the 18th to early 19th century. The scene shows six figures, one seated away in the building, and the others sitting and standing around one carrying a large covered bowl - just about to partake of a meal or see a treasure revealed. A vintage Chinese export 20K yellow gold 1-1/2" bar or tie pin, c1890-1910, with Chinese good luck symbol. Stamped 20 and CS, it has its original c-clasp - it has also been tested for gold content.
