A scarce 2-1/8" x 1-3/8" cardboard matchbox from Canadian National Railways. This red, black and white Eddy match box features French on one side and English on the other; it is intact with bright graphics and the original inner tray. We were told it dates to c1950. I have never run across one before. It is in very good original condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than a touch of bumping to the edges and strike wear to the emery strips.
