This is a Pre-Columbian CHUPICUARO Face Pendant from Mexico, 300 B.C. It measures about 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" X 1/2" ( 3.2 cm X 3.2 cm X 1.3 cm ). A jeweler worked with sterling silver to make this Face used as a pendant. The Chupicuaro Culture belonged to the Late Preclassical or Formative Period.
