This is a Pre-Columbian CHIMU / INCA Face Vessel from Peru, 900 - 1300 A.D. It is made of copper and silver. It measures about 6 1/2" X 5 1/2" X 8 3/4" ( 16.6 cm X 14.0 cm X 22.3 cm ). The Chimu Culture was located on the North Coast of Peru, in a narrow strip of desert, 20 - 100 miles wide, between the Pacific Ocean and the Western slopes of The Andes, crossed by short rivers that made their valleys very fertile.
