This is a Pre-Columbian TIAHUANACO / TIWANAKU Polychrome KERO from Peru, 300 - 1000 A.D. It measures about 5 1/4" X 5 3/4" X 7" ( 13.4 cm X 14.7 cm X 17.9 cm ). The Tiahuanaco Culture developed in the Collao Plateau, 21 km from Lake Titicaca, occupying territories of modern-day Peru and Bolivia. This is a Pre-Columbian Pair of ICA / CHINCHA Snake Vessels from Peru, c. 1100 - 1400 A.D. Each vessel measures about 6 1/4" X 11" X 7 1/2" ( 15.9 cm X 28.1 cm X 19.1 cm ). The Ica / Chincha Culture was located South of Lima, in the Valleys of Ica and Chincha ( their name derive from these valleys).
