Incredible large pietra dura frame in the shape of an artist's palette. The blossomed and budding roses jump out at you and look alive. The frame measures 11"L X 8"W and has glass over the picture and the frame's original fabulous metal back and easel stand. There is a plate that unscrews to change the picture! Gorgeous Antique opera glasses with a blue guilloche background and foil and gold leaf flowers. The glasses have a telescoping handle and Mother of pearl around the lenses. Some minor hairlines to the handle otherwise excellent condition but they do need a cleaning. Marked M. Michaels Paris Montreal on the MOP. They measure 2" H. Wonderful opera glasses.

Lovely sterling silver Art Nouveau small double picture frame made by William Kerr & Co circa 1900. The repousse cover of a naked lady lying on the waves with the exotic bird overhead and the blazing rising sun behind her head evokes the feeling of the time. Absolutely wonderful rare Antique circa 1880 leather photo album with a center pietra dura of flowers. The inside cover has a sticker for Florence Italy were the album was purchased. The album measures about 8"L X 6 3/4"w X 1 3/4"H. The pietra is over 3"W X 4 3/4"L. The pietra dura is in excellent condition. The album has wear to the binding and corners and marks on the leather cover(see photos). There are some minor tears to a couple photo pages and spots on the pages. ...click for details

Victorian ink blotter with 2 pietra dura inserts. Both pierta duras are of flowers and multicolored. They are in excellent condition. They each measure about 2 1/4"W X 1 5/8"L. The blotter measures almost 6 1/4" W X 2 1/2"L X 4 1/4"H. Some of the wooden edging framing the pietra duras is damaged both on the top and on the the underneath. Otherwise excellent condition.
