Outstanding and very unusual 14K Victorian circa 1880 Italy high relief lava cameo of a lovely classic Maiden in profile surrounded by an intricately carved lava frame all carved from one piece of lava. All original Victorian carved ivory cherub attached to a black ribbon with a carved ivory slide and an ivory clasp that unscrews. The cherub or angel is very unusual because her wings head up towards Heaven. The carving measures 2 1/4"L X 7/8"W. The slide measures 3/4"L X 3/8"W and the ribbon is about 26"L X 1/4"W.
