Outstanding sterling silver topped glass jar made by Krementz & Co of Newark NJ at the turn of the last century. The top has an unusual violet and green exotic enamel design. The sterling is so tarnished it looks black but no doubt it will shine up beautifully. The inside of the cover is gold gilt. It is signed on the inside STERLING and the hallmark for Krementz. Excellent original condition with a few problems to the stopper. First of all it DOES NOT come out. It seems solidly stuck there. ...click for details
