Ludwig Wolpert 1900-1981 trained with the Bauhaus he taught at the Bezalel School in Jerusalem and later in the 50's became director of the Tobe Pascher Workshop at the Jewish Museum in NY. He worked in a contemporary style and changed the direction of Judaica design. This is an eternal flame in sterling and silver gilt. It measures 1 1/4"W X 1 3/4"L. It can also be worn as a pendant. Unusual and fabulous sterling silver carved crystal and marcasite stickpin made in France circa 1920-30. The carving is of a Chinese Immortal. He is surrounded by marcasites. The stickpin is large measuring 1 1/8"L X 7/8"W and the pin extends another 1 1/2"L. The back is engraved MADE IN FRANCE and there is a boar's head hallmark signifying sterling France and there is also another hallmark. It is in excellent original condition. Over the top phenomenal Victorian circa 1880 Bohemian garnet bracelet with over 300 rich burgundy Bohemian garnets and one large cabochon. The bracelet measures about 7 1/2" L. It has an oval tiered clasp that is also the centerpiece that measures 1 1/2"W X 1 1/2"L. The rest of the bracelet consists of 5 panels each with 7 rows of garnets and the center row is raised.
