Magnificent circa 1860 carved Victorian ivory cameo of a classic beauty. The carving is detailed and eloquent. It is the work of a master carver. The carving is of a young woman with pearls and flowers in her long abundant hair. She wears a flowing gown and strands of pearls also around her neck. The ivory measures 2 1/8"L X 1 1/2" W. The carving is in excellent condition with 1 pearl missing on the strand closest to her chest. She is breathtaking. This 150 year old cameo has been treasured and passed down and hopefully will continue in this tradition. Buyer pays USPS priority S/I. Checks or Money orders or paypal.
