| Lovely brass and enamel opera glasses with a telescoping handle. The enamel is a soft blue with hand painted flowers. There is inset Mother of Pearl at the bottom of the handle. This matches the Mother of Pearl around the lenses which are signed MAPPIN & WEBB. Mappin & Webb was founded in 1774 in the UK and is still in existence. There is a clear lacquer over the enamel which has a few natural imperfections. The enamel mechanisms brass and Mother of Pearl is in excellent condition. Lots of pictures so you can see for yourself.Add to your collection or use them when out on the Town. A nice hierloom. | ||
