This is a original bronze statue by Hippolyte Moreau a very well listed artist titled L'Printemps. This is one of the 4 seasons Moreau did that were cast by the Societie Des Bronzes in France around 1895.These came in a 18 and 26 1/2 inch size. The 18 inch seem to be harder to find. The quality and condition is fantastic!I also have L'Hiver (Winter) up for sale. They make a great pair and have been together a long time.

This is a original 18 inch tall bronze casting by Hippolyte Moreau a very well listed french sculptor.These were done by the Societie Des Bronzes in Paris around 1895.This statue L'Hiver or Winter is one of a set of 4 of the seasons and came in 2 sizes 18 and 26 1/2 inches.The 18 inch size seems to be harder to find and winter also seems to be the hardest figure to find. This is another lovely bronze bust of a lady. It is titled La Gardeuse Joies.She is by another well listed artist Antoine Nelson also known as Antoine Joseph Van Der Kerckhove.She is a nice tall 18 1/2 inchs has a nice dark brown patina and has the set in seal on the side.The seal says H. Luppens Co. Bruxelles Bronzes. Condition is quite good save for a couple of tiny nicks on the edge of her bodice.From the same Main Line Philadelphia estate as the van Der Straten bust bust

This is a lovely large 18 1/2 inch tall bronze bust by the very well listed artist Georges Van Der Straten.He is one of the most sought after bronze artists.She has the set in seal of the Society Des Bronzes Paris.This bust does not show up very often.If you like lovely ladies this is a nice one.

This is a nice bronze statue of a Irish Wolfhound by the listed artist Ugo Cipriani. It is 9 1/2 inches tall with the base and about 9 inches long. This is in excellent condition and is signed on the base.It would be circa 1920/30 vintage.Works by this artist are scarce. I found 3 bronze examples searching the net.Most of the Cipriani clan worked in stone not bronze. If you collect dog statues or Irish Wolfhound items this would be a great addition to your collection.

This is a great original bronze statue of a bull by the famous french artist P.J.Mene. He is well known for his Animalier sculptures.This has a scarce greenish colored patina that is in great condition with just a few areas of slight wear as to be expected on a 125 + years old casting.Size is 5 3/4 inches tall 9 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 deep.If you collect animal or bovine subject matter this would be a great addition to your collection.

This is a high quality french bronze urn with cover.It would date 1850 to 1880 and is of the quality of the Barbedienne foundry.It is done in a two tone finish that is in quite nice condition for the age of this urn.There is a cartouche mounted on the front that is a separate casting as are the arms.This urn is 11 inches tall by 9 inches wide

This is a very rare [one of 2 known] ice cream set with hand painted scenes of imaginary polar exploration.Created around 1870 the scenes are derived from illustrations in Jules Verne novels by Edward Riou. The unmarked dishes are believed to have been made in France and then decorated in this country. The other set like this was featured in a article about Arctic Imagery in the february 2007 issue of the magazine Antiques on page 78. This is a great late 19th century large size copy of the famous statue Venus De Milo. It has the seal of A. Collas reduction mecanique set in the back and was cast at the F. Barbediene foundry.This is a hard to find large size. 37 1/2 inches tall. It is in wonderful condition with a pleasing rich brown finish. It is numbered underneath 116 and also has ink numbers in the underside. One just like it sold in Paris at Sotheby's in 2004 for over $12000.00.
