This is a nice pencil signed proof etching before letters by Julian Rix a well know artist in the 1880's and 90's. He did a number of prints for Picturesque California. Image is 11 1/2 by 7 1/2+ wide margins. In excellent condition and matted with a cream mat.

This is a nice pre 1860 french bronze of a young man harvesting wheat. He most likely was a clock statue.He is in nice original condition and was cast in two sections. There is a small hole at the base of the wheat bundle which may have held another part on the statue but it does not seem like it would have needed anything else in the composition.This is 9 1/2 tall by 10 inches wide.

This is a original pre 1900 bronze statue of Thetis. Thetis and Jupiter were the parents of Achilles.She is 15 inches tall and has the correct seal in the back G&S Medaille d'or 1867 as shown in volume 4 of Berman's bronze books. She is pictured as no 4186 in this book.She is in nice original condition with no scratches or dings.

This is a very rare large format aquatint print of the famous race horse GRAY EAGLE. It was published for the New York Spirit of the Times newspaper which only published from 1835 to 1837.His linage can be traced back to the 1760's and Traveler Robert Lee's horse was a decendent.I could find no other copy of this print for sale and only one other print by Currier of this horse for sale any where! This is a original watercolor or gouache by an Italian named Gianni.This was a large family that painted a lot of watercolors of Italian scenes.This one seems to be from the teens or 20's from the style of the original frame it is in.The size is 12 by 19 1/2 + frame.This is in bright original condition with no problems.

This is a nice original etching of New Orleans dated 1941 by Leon Rene Pescheret a Wisconsin artist 1892-1961.The image is 8 by 6 1/2 inches+large margins. This print is pencil signed and is in ex. condition. I do not think it has ever been framed.Pescheret's prints are becoming very collectible.The print is not as yellow as my photo shows

This is a wonderful very large 1859 tinted lithograph of the Review of Massachusetts Volunteer Militia at Concord Ma. September 9 1859.The prints visual size is 29 1/2 by 45 and with the original black walnut frame it is 36 by 52.This also has the original glass with some bubble imperfections. Condition of the paper is very good with no tears.
