This is a large watercolor circa 1920 by Edgar PRITCHARD. This is a large 11 by 15 1/2 watercolor of a fall scene just after the sun has gone down leaving a afterglow in the sky. Colors are bright and fresh I do not think it was ever framed. We have it shrink wrapped with a creamy tan mat.I have been informed by a distant relative of Edgar Pritchard that this is by him and not by one of the English artists named Pritchard who died earlier.

This is a interesting and unusual oil painting of a WW1 burial procession.There is a bombed out town in the back round and a rifle on the ground which would seem to indicate a recent battle.It is signed on the left Richard Assmann
