| This is a original gouache illustration by Bill Griffith for the August 1955 issue of Sports Afield.The story was the Saga of the Red Wolf.The art is 11 by 12 1/2+ margins and has been framed in a simple wood frame 17 1/2 by 18 1/2.Picture is in good condition but has some small spots on the right side and a light one near top center.I presume it sat around for a time before being framed.Griffith worked for Sports Afield for a number of years. He did cover art and interior illustrations. | ||
