"Though Latin American life, like life everywhere else, is rapidly slouching toward modernity, its predominant note is still traditional. A tradition-oriented society affords a certainty about family and relationships absent from the more modernized world." - Enrique Fernandez, "Runaway's End" from the catalog "Mario Algaze: Portfolio Latinoamericano" Gina Kehayoff, Munich, 1997.
