C. 1920'S Scofield Baltimore Rose Repousee Baltimore Rose Rare Salt Cellars. Starting around the turn of the 20th Century in Baltimore, Maryland there were several silversmiths. Scofield, Kirk and Stieff were the main players. The Repousse pattern is known as Baltimore Rose. Also the Scofield is all hand chased. Collectors and Dealers and Shops referred to these patterns as Baltimore Rose. Silver on Copper very interesting and unusual Cobalt Glass Open Salt Cellar. This piece is marked with what appears to look like "A.M." in a Diamond and "M.I.I." in a diamond along with mark that I can not read. Appears to be dutch in origin and I would date it to late 19TH or Early 20TH Century This silver boat shaped salt stands on four legs. It has a Cathedral Arch openwork pattern around the sides.
