20TH Century Mottahedeh Limited Series No. 044/150 Fox Hunting Scene Mug/Tankard. this Wonderful Reproduction of a Chinese Export Fox Hunting Mug was made by Mottahedeh was made at their factory in Portugal. Marked VA Vista Alegre is a Limited Series and is #044/150. It is in Excellent Condition. No Chips, Cracks or Restoration. It measures 6" in height and the diameter of the opening is 4 3/4". This is a pattern of Mottahedeh that we have not seen before, so apparently we do not know as much about chinese export porcelain as we thought. It is a reproduction of a Chinese Export Service that was made in the chien lung dynasty C.1750-1760. This shrimp dish was part of a complete dinner service that the heirs sold us a platter and the shrimp dish. The 18th Century Dinner set is in the Dallas Museum of Art and is part of THE WENDY & EMORY REEVES COLLECTION. The reproduction was sold out ...click for details
