| Circa 1820 Chinese Export Rose Mandarin Rare Cider Jug measuring 10" in height to the head of the gilded foo dog on the nicely decorated cover. Their are 20 painted figures going around the jug. On the border at the top of the cider jug there are eight ladies painted going around full circle. this outstanding piece has a beautiful double strapped handle that on the ends of the double strapped handles is a beautiful gilded splotching. within the handle on the pitcher itself is a beautiful turquoise decoration. We have also found a rickshaw in the front left of the spout. This cider jug is in very good condition and to say the least very beautifully decorated. This piece would be a wonderful addition to someone's chinese export famille rose mandarin collection | |||||||||||||||
