Pair of carved wood sculptures of standing naked women by OTTO PEDERSEN, b. Odense, Denmark, 1902, d. s. p. 1995. The statues and wood bases are carved from single blocks of wood. Both statues show the women with their hands on back of their hips, and have dark brown patinas. Each statue has the signature of the artist, “OTTO P.”, burnt into the base. Height #1: 10 inch/25.5 cm., Height #2: 9 inch/23 cm.

The first statue is depicted with arms above her head, and has a reddish brown patina. The second carving has hands on back of her hips, and has a dark brown patina.
