Japanese Kutani sugar jar and cream pitcher, decorated with men and women in garden scenes on one side and finely plumed birds on the other. This set is finely painted in typical kutani red colors with gilt highlights. The handles are bamboo style and shape. There is no top to the sugar jar.
Signed: Each piece has the Kutani signature mark on bottom.

Japanese Satsuma Bowl with Maple Leaves
Description: Beautifully painted Japanese Satsuma scalloped bowl with gilt edge. The interior of the bowl is decorated with a maple tree and autumn leaves. There are also birds flying over red and pink blooming flowers outlined with gilt. The exterior has three sections of maple leaves.
Signed: There are Japanese characters written in gold over a rust red background on the bottom.

Japanese Satsuma vase with a gilt edged scallop top and a long neck above a finely decorated body. The vase has an alternating design of gilt edged flowers, chrysanthemum and peonies, with the other designs of lozenges and triangles of blue and red flowers with gilt outlines. The primary colors are orange, green pink, purple, blue and rust-red. There are two gilt chrysanthemum Satsuma mons on the neck of the vase. Unsigned.

Matched Pair of Japanese Kutani covered tea cups in two sizes - His & Hers. The cups have a gilt/gold ground, decorated with flying white cranes (thousand crane design), on the tops and sides.
Marks: Both cups are signed on the bottom with an ironstone red Kutani mark.

The center has a village scene. The primary colors are ironstone red, green cobalt, white, aubergine, and orange. The backside has ironstone red and cobalt floral and scrolling leaf design. This design is duplicated on the base. There is a two-character mark in the center of the top. The bottom has an under glaze blue design.
