Japanese bronze mythological animal scroll weight. The finely detailed animal has the appearance of a member of the cat family, with its long flowing mane, furry tail, and facial features. The bronze measures 1-1/2” H x 2-1/4” W x 1-1/2” D, and weighs 5 oz. Age is circa early 20th century. Excellent condition, with some signs of wear on the bottom.
Japanese bronze Champlevé urn/vase with mythological bird handles. The vase has a triple design of crossed swords (tasuki) with a pair of enamel bands of under the enamel designs of animals, and patterns on a blue ground. Measures 12” H x 7-1/2” handle to handle with a 7-1/4” Diameter body, and weighs 4.16 lbs. Excellent condition. Early to mid-20th century.
Old Chinese export enamel box with interior hinge. It is decorated with White translucent enamel over a fish scale design and is decorated in bright colors of orange and green repousse koi amid leaves and flowers on four sides and top. The interior is lined with wood and the bottom has four bun feet and an impressed “China” mark. The box measures 1.5” H x 4.5” W x 3-1/4” D, and weighs 10 oz. The box is in good condition with minimal loss of enamel on the top of the box. Age: From 1930’s.

The interior is lined with wood and the bottom has an impressed “China” mark. The box measures 1.5” H x 4.5” W x 3-1/4” D, and weighs 11 oz. The box is in good condition with some minimal loss of enamel on the top of the box. Age is c. 1930’s.
French L’Epee Polished Bronze Carriage Clock, with key wound, 8-day movement, and beveled glass on all sides and top. It has a white porcelain face with Roman numerals and marked, “L’Epee, Fondee in 1839” and “Sainte Luxanne France” in the center of the dial. L'Epee was founded in 1839 and has continued to maintain a reputation for their quality workmanship. This offering is for a Set of six (6) Chinese cloisonné snuff bottles in a variety of shapes, with two shades of blue flowers, fruits, jui-I, and fish scale designs on a white enamel ground. The body of each snuff bottle is brass, and contains a brass spoon and rounded top cap. Bronze finely etched Yatata brush and ink holder with a variety of floral and fern designs. The holder has two lidded openings, one for the brush and other for ink. The Yatata measures 1-1/8”H x 7-3/4”W x 1-5/8”D at the widest, and weighs 10 oz. The condition is good with a darkened patina. Age is mid 20th century.
