Japanese Imari rice bowl covered with chrysanthemum flowers and archaic sword tips of cobalt, ironstone red and gilt. The center of the top has a 4-character signature. The bottom has the same design ending with a lighter blue under glaze petal design with flowers. Date: From1900. Size/Weight: 3-7/8”H x 5-1/2”W; 1.2 lbs. Condition: Excellent with no breaks or cracks.

Japanese Imari covered rice bowl. The two pieces have two alternating designs of (1) fan design with flowers and half of an ironstone red flowers (2) cobalt ground with gilt and whole ironstone red flower. This design is duplicated on the base. There is a two-character mark in the center of the top. The bottom has an under glaze blue design. Date: From 1900. Size/Weight: 3-7/8”H x 5”Diameter; 14 oz. Condition: Excellent condition with no breaks or cracks.
