This is an old Thai bronze Buddha that we acquired along with a large grouping of Asian antiques that was brought back from southeast Asia by a former pilot that flew for Air America during 1960's in the Vietnam War. The Buddha is seated in the earth-touching mudra, and is from the U-Thong school. The gilt patina has worn to a dull finish, with the exception of brighter highlights in some of the crevices and hair curls.
