| This offering is for a vintage Chinese octagonal bulb dish with four sides decorated with various scenes of ladies in a garden, and four sides with Chinese characters. The outer edge if the rim has a rust-red floral design. The base has four raised feet with Chinese characters in a rust-red oval border. There is some uneven glaze around the top, unglazed feet and eight pin holes on the bottom from the firing kiln. Condition: Overall good except for some wear to the gilt trim, a small hairline on the rim and a couple of small chips/frits along the edge. The dish measures 3” H x 8-1/2’ W x 6-1/2” D, and the weight is 2.4 lbs. Early 20th century. | |||||||||||||||
