| Japanese Satsuma Bowl with Maple Leaves Description: Beautifully painted Japanese Satsuma scalloped bowl with gilt edge. The interior of the bowl is decorated with a maple tree and autumn leaves. There are also birds flying over red and pink blooming flowers outlined with gilt. The exterior has three sections of maple leaves. Signed: There are Japanese characters written in gold over a rust red background on the bottom. Date: c1912–1926. Size/Weight: 2-1/8”H x 4-3/4”Diameter; 7 oz. Condition: Excellent with no breaks, cracks, or repairs. | ||||||||
