| Japanese Kutani sugar jar and cream pitcher, decorated with men and women in garden scenes on one side and finely plumed birds on the other. This set is finely painted in typical kutani red colors with gilt highlights. The handles are bamboo style and shape. There is no top to the sugar jar. Signed: Each piece has the Kutani signature mark on bottom. Date: Early 1900’s. Size/Weight: Sugar jar, 3-3/4”H x 5-1/2” (handle to handle); Creamer 4-3/4”H x 4-1/2” (spout to handle); 1.2 lb.
