Decorated Korean Porcelain Celadon Dish Period:Koryo Dynasty, Korea, 10th to 12th Century (900 to 1100 AD). Size:This wonderfully small dish has a diameter of 4 1/4". It stands 1 1/4" high on a carved base with a diameter of 1 3/4". Condition:This small dish is in perfect condition. Description:What a wonderful example of Korean celadon. Its thickly glazed color leans toward a darker green. The inside is accented with three chrysanthemums and two concentric circles in a pale color. The outside has three flowers also located opposite those on the inside. The bottom carved foot looks rough in the picture but is actually very smooth. It is a charming dish in perfect condition.
