Large Korean Porcelain Celadon Bowl Period:Koryo Dynasty, Korea, 10th to 12th Century (900 to 1100 AD). Size:The bowl has a diameter of 7 1/4" on a carved base of 2 1/8". It stands almost 3" high. Condition: This bowl is in remarkable condition for its age and fragile nature. It has wonderful color and thousands of small crackles indicative of its age and glazing. There is a small chip and an area of darker discoloration on the rim. Description:This is a beautiful bowl in color and proportion. It is thickly glazed with small bubbles apparent and decorated with two concentric circles 1/2" from the rim and three chrysanthemums in pale green on the interior. The bowl rises gracefully from a small carved foot. The inside of the foot has an unreadable stamp imprinted. Shipping and Insurance: We ship Federal Express.
