The charming cabinet is 24 1/4" wide, 13 3/4" deep and 30 1/2" tall.

Condition:

Color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in furniture of this age.

Description:

Named for the area in China where it was made and typically of the region, this wonderful little cabinet is a very functional and decorative size. Only the fronts of these cabinets were red lacquered, leaving the tops, sides and backs painted black. The front is beautifully painted in black and gold with scenes of houses, mountains and trees in bloom. The interior has room for storage and has one shelf. The cabinet is secured with an attached metal slide latch with two rings.
