| Beautiful Tang Dynasty Tomb Pottery Painted Fat Lady Period: Tang Dynasty 618 to 907, China. Size: The wonderful sculpture stands 13.4" tall. Condition: Color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age. Description: This is a very beautiful statue. She is wearing a full length robe with a small belt. She is standing with her hands clutched to her chest. She also has a very distinct look on her face. There is a great deal of original pigment still remaining. Her robe is a beautiful red color and her hair is black in color. This is an excellent example of Tang Dynasty tomb pottery. Buyer may request this item TL tested (thermo luminescence) by Oxford Authentication in England for an additional fee of $450.00 for items in our China distribution point.
