Five Dynasties jar with lid
Estimated Value: US$1,200 Rare Five Dynasties Jar Period: Five Dynasties, China, AD 907-960. Size: This jar measures approximately 10" tall, 8" wide, and has a 3 3/4" mouth and a 4 3/4" base. Condition: Good, chips to the rim and a small hole on the shoulder of the jar, color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age. Description: This unusual jar was excavated from a temple site in Kunming, Yunnan Province, South-West area of China. This jar has four sets of lotus design and 12 animals from the Chinese Zodiac and human effigy. Shipping, Handling & Insurance: This item is in our U.S. gallery. Shipping to Europe via USPs is $95.
