Period: Yuan Dynasty, China, AD 1279-1368.

Size: This magnificent dog is approximately 4" tall.

Condition: Color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age.

Description: This is an exceptional Yuan Dynasty zodiac dog. This piece is also very rare. It is beautifully sculpted with great detail. This is an excellent example of tomb pottery of the Yuan Dynasty in China.
