Excellent Han Dynasty Painted Tomb Pottery Horse Torso With Removable Head

Period: Han Dynasty, China, 206 BC to 220 AD.

Size: This horse torso measures approximately 13" tall and 15" wide.

Condition: Good, color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age.

Description: This horse torso is still very detailed. It has a nice shape with beautiful colors. This horse torso used to stand on wooden legs which have since deteriorated. This horse torso also has a removable head. This is an excellent example of tomb pottery of the Han Dynasty in China.
