Period: Tang Dynasty 618 to 907, China.

Size: This sculpture stands approximately 14.9 inches or 38 cm in height.

Condition: Good, color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age.

Description: This is a very beautiful statue. The earth spirit still has a great deal of original pigment still remaining. It is an excellent example of Tang Dynasty tomb pottery.
