Period: Tang Dynasty, China, 618 to 907.

Size: This horse is approximately 13" in height.

Condition: Excellent, color fading, abrasions, small chips and/or minor deterioration with possible areas of expert restoration is not unusual in burial pieces of this age.

Description: The horse is beautifully sculpted and painted. It is covered in red pigments. It is an excellent example of Tang Dynasty tomb pottery.
