Each vase with a thin and slightly flaring rim over a bulbous body is glazed in a mottled Oxblood glaze. The verso is stamped “ENGLAND, 55A” and with a stylized flower. Factory unknown.

The baluster form in a cobalt blue glaze is decorated with an oval reserve with a courting scene of a young couple in 18th century garb framed with gilt scrolling foliate “C” scrolls and stylized bouquets. The scene is signed. The porcelain body is set in a bronze base marked “France.”

The cylindrical tapering form is decorated with slip work and embossed patterning. The raised surfaces are glazed in greens, blues and cream. The verso is marked with an impressed mark “DOULTON, LAMBETH, 1880.”

This gorgeous box partially hand painted with a perched sparrow on a cherry blossom filled branch open to reveal a blank interior. The bottom of the box is decorated with a foliate garland in shades of green. The box is unmarked, but probably dates to the late 19th century.

The tri-color jug in tonal celadon and sage green glaze with cut decoration and bead work at the collar is marked on the verso.

Size: 5 ½” high, 4 1/8” diameter (rim)

The Cylindrical form with rolled rim flanked by applied “C” handles has an oatmeal ground. The front is hand decorated with a free form cobalt design. The interior has a dark stained finish. The crock is unmarked, but may be from Pennsylvania.

A 20th Century Talavera Plate featuring a picture of Sancho Poncho on a horse. The artist’s signature is on the verso. This plate would make a fine addition to a unique plate collection.
