A Pair of Porcelain Shell Shaped Hand Painted Dishes, Coalport, Cornflower, circa 1820
The pair of dishes is scalloped and trimmed in gold. The interior is painted in small sprigs of blue and green cornflowers. The dishes where purchased at the Ellen Stern Galleries in Cleveland, Ohio.
The scalloped and embossed form is trimmed in gold leading to a French Blue band framing a botanical center surrounded by a scalloped frame. These plates are gorgeous and would be a great accent for a cabinet or on a wall. The verso is marked “1633”
An Imari Colored Bowl, Possibly Derby, English 19th Century
The round bowl with scalloped rim over a tapering and corresponding body is decorated in blue, iron red, and gold in a Japanese inspired pattern. The verso is marked with a hand painted crown with a cross that is similar to a Derby mark.
A Child’s Tea Service, Humphrey’s Clock by Ridgways, England, 19th Century
The set includes a teapot, creamer, sugar bowl and six cups and saucers. The set is decorated in a blue transferware depicting life in a small village. The teapot is marked “Nell’s Lonely Walk” while each of the pieces are not identical they all are charming village scenes. The gorgeous scalloped plates each centered by a floral sprig are framed by a wide French Blue border. The rim is embossed and highlighted in a gold trim. The verso is hand marked “1633.”

The large platter with scalloped rim is decorated in an Oriental Motif with cherry blossom sprigs and court scenes alternating on the rim and framing a garden scene. The verso is stamped “SPODE.”

The large molded rectangular platter with rounded corners is decorated in shades of blue. The rim has large dogwood blossoms and foliage motif framing a deep well that is decorated with an Orientalist scene.

The shapely dessert dish is by Bathwell & Goodfellow. The surface is decorated in a light and medium blue transfer ware depicting the bridge of Lucano in Italy. The verso is marked with a blue stamp of a crown surrounded by a ribbon reading “Bridge, Lucano, Italy.”
