The rectangular top over a conforming body and fitted with graduating long drawers. Each drawer is centered by a diamond shaped inlay escutcheon flanked by original brass pulls. The case is raised on bracket style feet and finished with a scalloped apron.
This very unique hand carved mahogany chair features a seat of rush caining. The work has a simple form; the only stylization resides on the chair back. The horizontal splat shows detail of fanning scrolls. The crested rail shows three inlayed star medallions of ebony and ivory. The two rear legs are turned.
