A Pair of Carved Wood Tablescreens, Chinese, 19th Century
Each screen is constructed of three panels set in a molded frame that rests in a carved stand. The screen is carved in relief with various scenes from fishing, farming and scholarly activity. Areas are highlighted in gold. The verso is covered and uncarved.
A Pair of Porcelain Noodle Cups, Imari, Japanese, Meiji
Each molded of a round form with a scalloped rim and ribbed body. The interior has a blue band of alternating reserves and a decorated bottom with flowers, in blue. The exterior has the same band of alternating reserves over an iron red and gold band with cranes, foliage and medallions. The verso is marked with a thin blue rim on the inside of foot rim.

The baluster form with a delicate incised floral motif and a brown swirled glaze decorates the gorgeous cabinet vase. Provenance, Herman Marshal, Cleveland, Ohio.
A Carved Tea Stained Ivory Figure, Chinese, Circa 1900
The figural group comprises an older man dressed in a long robe and paints with crisp folds in the fabric and a lotus hat. He is accompanied by his fishing partner, a young boy, similarly dressed. Each figure proudly holds their catch of the day. The figures are supported by a stepped teak base.

A Pair of Leaf Shaped Kakiemon Dishes, Japanese, 19th century
Each dish is molded in an oval form with a scalloped rim and ribbed body that tappers toward the base. The interior is decorated in iron red, green, and blue with gilt accents. The sides are decorated in the same colors with a similar design.
The textile is designed with repeating off oatmeal bands with blue, red, gold and white diamonds, the alternating bands are of red and the middle red band is decorated with large stylized diamond / flower motif evenly placed. The Ikat has a cotton backing.
A Ban Chiang Stem Cup, North Thailand, ca. 1000-300 BC
Molded as a squat form with a pronounced semi-cylindrical rim over a globular body raised on a round foot. The neck and shoulder are decorated in a linear zigzag pattern in a reddish color over an incised cross hatched design. The shoulder is punctuated with three applied horn like elements painted in a reddish color.

A Ban Chiang Stem Cup, North Thailand, ca 100-300 BC
This vessel is elegantly formed with a pronounced rolled rim over a globular body raised on a flaring foot. The vessel is decorated in various geometric patterns that are more worn near the middle, but the concentric circular and converging angles are very contemporary in feel.
A Ban Chiang Culture Stem-Cup, Northern Thailand, ca 1000-300 BC
Molded in a globular form with a round flared neck, decorated with concentric scrolls on the body and a bold wave pattern on the neck, all decorated in a reddish terracotta color.
