A Pair of Carved Wood Tablescreens, Chinese, 19th Century
Each screen is constructed of three panels set in a molded frame that rests in a carved stand. The screen is carved in relief with various scenes from fishing, farming and scholarly activity. Areas are highlighted in gold. The verso is covered and uncarved.
The baluster form with a delicate incised floral motif and a brown swirled glaze decorates the gorgeous cabinet vase. Provenance, Herman Marshal, Cleveland, Ohio.
A Carved Tea Stained Ivory Figure, Chinese, Circa 1900
The figural group comprises an older man dressed in a long robe and paints with crisp folds in the fabric and a lotus hat. He is accompanied by his fishing partner, a young boy, similarly dressed. Each figure proudly holds their catch of the day. The figures are supported by a stepped teak base.

A Set of Porcelain Rose Medallion Nesting Boxes, Chinese, 19th Century
Each of cylindrical form and hand decorated in iron red, pink, greens and blues with alternating panels of blossoms and court scenes. The set includes five graduating boxes with similar decoration and color. The verso is unmarked.
A Hand Carved and Gilt Panel, Chinese, 19th Century
The rectangular panel in high relief depicts an interior garden scene with a pair of Torii Gates and various figures being playful, flanked by animals. The panel is set inside an ebonized frame surmounted with a geometric designed brass hanger. The panel is unmarked.
A Hand Carved & Gilded Chinese Table Screen and Stand 19th Century
This ornate gilded wood and mirrored table screen and stand is remarkably intricate and contains two outdoor scenes. The central scene on the screen measures 12 ½”high x 9” wide. A Pair of Rose Medallion Plates, Chinese circa 1900
This elegant pair of Rose Medallion Plates is finely enameled in shades of red, green, blue, yellow, black, and trimmed in gold. Each plate is divided into four panels two depicting an interior court scene and two with a floral cluster with birds and moths. These porcelain plates are great for the wall or in a cabinet.
