From a Private Collection gathered in South America during the 1960’s. This Pre-Columbian style whistle is in the form of a bird. It is molded and painted and has some loss on the tail.

Each rectangular mahogany (or tropical hardwood) panel is hand carved with an acanthus style leaf and mounted with a hand wrought iron arm and boboche. The panels are of various thickness and height, but work wonderfully as a pair.

This gorgeous vase with orb like form is decorated with larger than life crocus blossoms. The body of the vase shades from a medium to light blue in the front to an eggshell white to the lower back of the vase. The verso is marked with the artist and company mark.

The trumpet form vase with pronounced rim is hand engraved with a giraffe and an African jungle scene. The verso is marked “Queen Lace” in script.

The bowl with a large opening and well-proportioned body allows for a magnificent scene to be etched on the body. The scene is of an African elephant coming through the jungle and standing in a grass mound. The verso is marked in script “Queen Lace”

The pair of shell shaped bowls are identical molded with an intricate bodies and a scalloped rim. The verso is marked with the company’s hallmark.
