A Set of Four Demitasse Cups and Saucers, Acorn Pattern, Georg Jensen
These four porcelain demitasse cups and saucers are housed in their original box. The cylindrical cups with applied “C” handle has a wide band of medallions fashioned after the sterling silver Acorn pattern framed by a thin platinum band. This robustly painted round medallion with a finely painted grape cluster with foliage and dark green stem. The verso is marked in raised letters WHEELING.”
The porcelain figure is molded in the form of a young Robin and finished with life like quality. The underside is marked with company logo and entitled “Baby Robin” and additionally stamped “437 G, Made in USA, 5-4-3”.
